Australia team win The Weekly Times Coles 2018 Horticulture Farmer of the Year award
Leading Australian grower and team behind BerryWorld Australia, Piñata Farms, has won The Weekly Times Coles 2018 Horticulture Farmer of the Year award.
The Scurr family from Piñata Farms produces premium pineapples and mangoes and owns the breeding rights to grow and market exclusive BerryWorld strawberries and raspberries.
Brothers, Stephen Scurr, left, and managing director Gavin Scurr were in Melbourne, Australia on Friday night to receive the award at a gala function.
Managing director Gavin Scurr said the win was a tremendous surprise.
